The Sustainable IT Working Group partnered with the UVA Architecture School to install circuit-specific energy meters in UVA's Campbell Hall. The Architecture data science class uses the data recorded by these meters to teach students about the relationship between sustainability and design.
Workstation Power Management

A summary of three studies to reduce workstation power consumption: using centralized softwares to optimize computer power settings, eliminating vampire IT with smart power strips, and programming the AV equipment to shut-off when it is not being used.
